In “Iron Lady,” a movie about the life of Margaret Thatcher, there’s this intense scene where she’s sharing an intimate detail about herself with a colleague. She tells of the most important lesson her father taught her, and how it shaped how her life and influenced her actions. The lesson was this:
“Watch your thoughts, for they become your words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become your character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny. What we think, we become!”
Her words are so true, and there is not a day that goes by where I don’t question whether or not the words I am speaking are creating the life I want to be living. If the experience you are having, and the events that are occurring in your life don’t match up with what you want – start noticing the thoughts you are having. It all begins there. The good news? You can change those thoughts – right here, right now.
Make it an extraordinary day!

I really believe that is a universal truth. Our minds and thoughts are powerful. It’s also important to what we expose ourselves to, as that can influence our thoughts.
So true So true! A good reminder that we are what we think and many of us have so many misbeliefs about ourselves!
